After you have attended a Tres Dias weekend, your normal reaction is to invite as many people as possible. You cannot wait to tell people about your weekend, how you have changed and why they should attend a weekend too. But sometimes, our friends and family aren’t as receptive as we would like the to be. Tres Dias tends to become an elusive ministry that is hard to explain and in response, turns people off.
If inviting people wasn’t hard enough, getting your Pastor on board is even harder. Between your Pastor’s busy schedule, limited resources and an even more limited understanding of Tres Dias – the hopes of getting your church’s support may seem like a very daunting task – but it doesn’t have to be.
When approaching your Pastor, remember that you must answer their question- “What’s in it for me?” In this case, it make be easier to answer – “What is in it for my congregation?”
Remember Tres Dias isn’t full of secrets, so feel free to answer any questions that your Pastor has. Take in materials that explain what Tres Dias is – videos, brochures, event cards and show your Pastor our website. All of these supplemental materials help to affirm what Tres Dias is.
Wouldn’t it be great if your church could become a ministry partner for Tres Dias? This doesn’t have to be in just terms of financial giving. They could host our team meetings, sponsor their staff and members or just display our promo videos at services. For more information click here.
