Who am I?

15823306_10158174354945389_7457055485066565002_nMy name is Carrie Falkner and I have been married to my husband Steven for 16 years. We have 4 biological children and two girls that we are fostering to adopt. We are hoping our adoption will be finalized very soon! My family and I attend Connections Community Church in Gardner, KS. We both lead the kids and youth ministries there.  I was very blessed to grow up in a Christian home and knew Jesus as my personal savior at a young age. I can’t even begin to think what my life would have been like without him. He is my strength!

What was my Tres Dias Experience

When my friend and neighbor first told me about Tres Dias I was ready to sign up!! It turned out that her husband was attending KCTD #8 and he really wanted her to attend that following week for the women’s weekend. I was unable to attend on such short notice but knew I would attend the next one. When I saw how God loved on them that weekend I could hardly wait for my weekend!! My husband and I both attended KCTD #9 and our lives have forever been changed. When he came back from his weekend he was a new man. He was glowing with the love of the Holy Spirit and so full of love that only Jesus can give. I WANTED that and could not wait to experience it! 15110945_10157909170385389_596747484415429267_o

My weekend did not disappoint. God was there in EVERYTHING that weekend! The moment I walked into the building I felt the unconditional love of God. I found a renewed relationship with Him a closeness that I had never experienced. I have always know Jesus as my Savior, but never as my PERSONAL Savior and to have a real relationship with the Holy Spirit. That weekend God showed me that He has so much more for us.

Why I serve on the Board

onlineI am very honored to I serve on The Board as the Palanca Chair and feel very blessed. I serve because I want to be a part of what God is doing in this amazing Holy Spirit lead ministry. Tres Dias is a wonderful ministry that God is using to build up leaders in the church. Equipping people to go out and be the church to others.
